Fresh from a two-year renovation, Regent Hong Kong 's grand reopening marks a new era for this waterfront address, which debuted on the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade in 1980. Known for its stunning harbour views, the Regent 2.0 features a serene modern design with Japanese-inspired elements like window-hugging daybeds, bamboo motifs and deep-soak bathtubs. Guests can enjoy favorite restaurants such as Nobu and the Michelin-starred Lai Ching Heen, plus the glamorous new Qura Bar.

Japan’s capital has a new crown jewel: the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo . Featuring the jewellery maison’s exquisite craftsmanship, this design-forward address melds Italian elegance with traditional Japanese design elements atop the 45-storey Tokyo Midtown Yaesu tower in Ginza. The secret’s out: this island retreat has raised the benchmark for Maldivian luxury. Located in the remote Haa Dhaalu Atoll, Soneva Secret features the country’s first floating villa, plus 13 other villas, each with private chefs, 24/7 butler service, Crusoe-chic interiors and retractable bedroom ceilings for stargazing. Travellers can also expect creative dining concepts too (including a restaurant accessible via zipline), nearly carbon-zero operations, and remarkable underwater experiences with dolphins, mantas, and sharks.

Part of the hip new Azabudai Hills neighbourhood, Janu Tokyo has made quite a stir as the first hotel to debut from Aman Group’s new Janu brand. Putting a fresh spin on urban luxury, the hotel is about community, sustainability and well-being. Guided by this ethos, the interior design features many calming and uplifting touches.
