How can I visit Cathay Shop inflight?

You can shop with us inflight if you’re flying on select aircraft and flights with Wi-Fi service. We are currently offering two delivery methods for inflight shopping:

  1. Inflight delivery - your order will be delivered to your seat on the same flight. (This service is only available on selected Cathay Pacific flights)
  2. Ground delivery and self-pickup - your order will be delivered to your home or via email or e-voucher. You can start shopping by following the steps to below:

While inflight – Connect to the Wi-Fi and start inflight shopping

  1. Enable Wi-Fi on your device and connect to the ‘Cathay Pacific’ network – enjoy complimentary access to browse the Cathay Shop.
  2. On the Wi-Fi portal, tap the INFLIGHT SHOPPING banner and enter your flight number. If you can’t access the portal, type wifi.cathaypacific.com into your browser
  3. You will be redirected to the landing page for inflight or ground delivery/self-pickup – your shopping journey begins here. You can also scan the QR code featured within the shopping section of our inflight Cathay magazine to explore our curated collection
  4. Sign in to your Cathay account to start adding items to your cart. If you’re not a Cathay member yet, you can sign up online before browsingProducts for inflight delivery and ground delivery/self-pickup are grouped into different carts for separate checkout.
    1. If your flight offers both inflight delivery, and ground delivery and self-pickup service, you will be able to browse products from both categories on our shop. When you checkout, you will have to select either ‘Inflight cart’ or ‘Ground cart’ before proceeding to payment.
    2. If your flight only offers ground delivery and self-pickup service: you will only be  able to browse products with delivery options of physical delivery, in-store pickup at Cathay Shop – Cityplaza, email delivery and mail delivery
  5. Apply a promo code if you have any. You will be able to pay with a mix of miles and cash.

For Inflight delivery

  • You will be asked to fill in your information, such as final destination if your order consists of liquids, aerosol and gels items during checkout
  • Once the order is successfully completed after payment, you will be directed to a thank you page with an order summary and a QR code for verification when picking up your order onboard
  • The order will be delivered to your seat directly after meal service and before landing. You’ll only be charged after you receive your items
  • If we’re not able to deliver your items before landing, your credit card won’t be charged and your order will be automatically cancelled

For ground delivery and self-pickup

  • Choose the delivery option and enter your details. If the product is delivered via email or e-voucher, make sure you have correctly entered your email address. If you’re going to pick up your order at Cathay Shop – Cityplaza, the e-voucher will be sent to your registered email address for order collection.
  • You will be directed to the payment page. Choose your payment method and enter your payment information.
  • Upon successfully completing the transaction, you will be redirected to the ‘Order summary’ page.
  • Order details will be sent to you via email and the delivery will be initiated.
