An update on our flights to and from Hong Kong International Airport
ปรับปรุงล่าสุด: 24 Sep 2025 16:50 HKT (GMT+8)
With Super Typhoon Ragasa moving away from Hong Kong this evening, the adverse weather conditions impacting our flight schedule are slowly subsiding.
We’re committed to returning our schedule to normal as quickly as possible. We thank our customer in advance for their understanding as we implement a staggered and gradual resumption of flights throughout Thursday into Friday.
To ensure a safe and orderly return to operations at Hong Kong International Airport, air traffic control restrictions will remain in place all day on Thursday, 25 September. These measures are essential to managing the increased volume of returning aircraft.
We’re also continuously monitoring the weather forecast over the next 24 hours. As heavy rain and strong crosswinds associated with the typhoon remain unpredictable, further short-notice changes to our schedule may be necessary, which could result in additional delays or cancellations.
We’ll keep all customers informed via email, SMS, and the Cathay Pacific app if there are any further changes to their itineraries.
Our teams are working diligently to assist customers. As flights are extremely full and the airport is expected to be very busy, we kindly ask all customers to only come to the airport if they have a confirmed booking and to check-in online before leaving home.
For any changes needed to travel plans, customers are advised to visit Manage Booking or contact their travel agent. Our airport teams are focussed on helping our customers start their journeys and our Customer Care lines continue to be extremely busy, so we thank our customers for their patience.
We also recommend checking the latest status of their flight in case of any last-minute changes.
