    Taikoo Li Qiantan in Shanghai’s Pudong New Area deserves a visit for its design alone. The first shopping mall to be certified Platinum under the WELL Core system, which assesses built environments for their impact on human wellbeing, this sleek retail venue boasts open green spaces and running tracks in addition to some 250 shops, including international luxury brands and destinations for dining, entertainment, lifestyle, health, arts and culture. 

    The offer: From 1 December 2024 to 31 January 2025, earn 2X miles for points conversion at a rate of 25 points = 1 by accessing the partner's WeChat mini programme to redeem a gift voucher.     Mitsui Outlet Park 

    Mitsui Outlet Park is Japan’s biggest outlet mall brand, with 13 branches across the country. Each location houses a wide range of Japanese and international brands, speciality stores selling unique souvenirs, and sprawling food courts. They’re also tourist-friendly, equipped with free Wi-Fi, multilingual concierge services, money exchanges and tax-free facilities. Follow your spending spree with a visit to nearby hotspots: from Mitsui Outlet Park Jazz Dream Nagashima, head to the Nagashima Spa Land water park and hot spring complex; and from Mitsui Outlet Park Makuhari, make your way to the magic of Tokyo Disneyland.

    Lotte Duty Free Ginza

    For a taste of Korea in Japan, pay a visit to Lotte Duty Free Ginza. In addition to getting your hands on K-pop goodies at Ktown4u and merchandise from beloved cartoon brands like Bellygom at Ginza Friends, you can also shop trending Korean fashion brands such as Musinsa and Covernat. Luxury Japanese brands are well represented here too: you’ll find House of Suntory, Ipsa and Pola.

    Shinsegae Department Store

    The country’s largest and oldest retailer, Shinsegae Department Store now has locations all over Korea. Its flagship store in Seoul’s Jung-gu neighbourhood is an elegant property that reflects the brand’s history and prestige. It comprises a Main Building where you can shop international luxury labels, a New Building showcasing up-and-coming Korean designers, the Gourmet Street food hall and a peaceful outdoor space, Trinity Garden.

    The offer: From now until 31 December 2024, members who register to become Shinsegae Department Store Foreign Members receive up to KRW700,000 (around HK$3,890) in Shinsegae gift certificates upon a minimum spend of KRW2,000,000 (roughly HK$1,111).

    Shinsegae Duty Free  

    There are also three Shinsegae Duty Free locations in Myeongdong, Busan and Incheon International Airport. The Myeongdong branch is close to Namdaemun Market and N Seoul Tower, allowing you to combine shopping with sightseeing. The Busan branch is in the huge Centum City mall. At Incheon International Airport, you’ll find Shinsegae branches in both Terminal 1 and 2, where you can shop duty-free right up until you board your flight. 

    The offer: From 1 December 2024 to 31 January 2025, spend US$250 or more at Shinsegae Duty Free to earn 3X miles with a rate of KRW1,000 = 3.

    Shin Kong Mitsukoshi is an easy contender for Taiwan’s most popular department store. It’s an essential stop for any visitor, representing more than 2,600 brands and attracting over 130 million shoppers each year. Discover boutique goods, clothing, cosmetics, accessories, global foods and handcrafted Taiwanese souvenirs while exploring stylish architecture, cultural events and beautiful green spaces.

    You can also find branches of Japan’s Mitsui retail outlet in Taiwan. Linkou, Taichung Port and Tainan are each home to a Mitsui Outlet Park, one-stop shopping spaces host to international, Taiwanese and Japanese brands at discounted prices. 

    At Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Taichung, there are plenty of entertainment options and eateries waiting to be explored. Nearby, venture into the bustling Zhongxiao Night Market, as well as Old Taichung Railway Station, Empire Sugar Factory and Cultural Heritage Park to learn more about the history and culture of the city.

    Siam Piwat Group’s malls
