Your Lounge Pass opens a world of exclusive amenities and signature dishes and drinks. Some of our most beautiful lounges are in Hong Kong, our home and hub. There, you can relax, refresh and recharge before your flight with such signature experiences as the Noodle Bar, Shower Suites, the Relaxation Room, and much more. Your Lounge Pass can also be used at our partner lounges. (except American Airlines lounges at John F. Kennedy International Airport)

Once you’ve reached the required number of club points, your mid-tier benefit will automatically appear in your account for you to claim. Visit your mid-tier benefits summary page to view your earned benefits and expiration dates.
For yourself or a travel companion:
via Manage Booking
- Claim your Lounge Pass via Manage Booking from 3 months to 90 minutes before flight departure.
- Sign in to find the booking under the Manage Booking, and select your Cathay Pacific flight. There is also an option to retrieve the booking of your travel companion who is not in the same booking, but travelling on the same flight date, with the same origin and destination, as you.
- Select the Lounge Pass type and passenger’s name who will receive the Lounge Pass.
- After the successful submission of your claim, a lounge invitation will be included on the passenger’s boarding pass.
via mobile app
- Claim your Lounge Pass via Cathay Pacific mobile app from 48 hours to 90 minutes before your flight departure.
- Sign in to find your Lounge Pass(es) under Mid-tier Benefits on the View Profile page.
- Select Claim Lounge Pass to retrieve the booking of yourself or a travel companion who is travelling together with you in the same booking. You can also select Other Booking(s) to claim for your travel companion who is not in the same booking, but travelling on the same flight date, with the same origin and destination, as you.
- Select the booking, airport lounge, Lounge Pass type and passenger’s name who will receive the Lounge Pass, and then press the Confirm button.
- After the successful submission of your claim, a lounge invitation will be included in the information section of the mobile boarding pass after check-in. Please press the Refresh button / pull-to-refresh to view your claimed Lounge Pass, if the boarding pass was issued / downloaded to your wallet before your claim.
For a Redemption Group member:
via mid-tier benefits summary page
- Sign in to visit your mid-tier benefits summary page and select ‘Claim Lounge Pass for your Redemption Group member’ from 48 hours before the passenger’s flight departure.
- Select the flight sector, airport and passenger’s name who will receive the Lounge Pass.
- After the successful submission of your claim, a lounge invitation will be included on the passenger’s boarding pass once online check-in is completed.
by calling Marco Polo Club Service Centre
- Contact our Marco Polo Club Service Centre to claim Lounge Pass for your Redemption Group member from 3 months to 90 minutes before the passenger’s flight departure.
- After the successful submission of your claim, Marco Polo Club Service Centre will confirm the lounge pass with you by phone or email. A lounge invitation will be included on the passenger’s boarding pass once online check-in is completed.
This benefit must be claimed online within 12 months of the date it was issued – it is not yet available on the mobile app or at airport check-in.
- Green members – 1 Business Class Lounge Pass will be awarded to members upon reaching 200 club points. The Lounge Pass is only valid for the member or their travel companion on flights operated and marketed Cathay Pacific.
- Silver members – 2 Business Class Lounge Passes will be awarded to members upon reaching 450 club points. The Lounge Pass is only valid for their travel companions on flights marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific.
- Gold members – 2 Business Class Lounge Passes will be awarded to members upon reaching 800 club points. The Lounge Pass is only valid for their travel companions or members of their Redemption Group on flights marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific.
- Diamond members – 2 First or Business Class Lounge Passes will be awarded to members upon reaching 1,400 club points. The Lounge Pass is only valid for their travel companions or members of their Redemption Group on flights marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific.
- Travel companions – they may use the Lounge Pass given to them by the member only when they are travelling with the member on the same booking, or when travelling on the same flight date, with the same origin and destination, as the member.
- Redemption Group – a group of up to 5 family members and/or friends nominated by the member, for whom the member can redeem their Asia Miles for awards. More information on Redemption Groups is available on the Asia Miles website. Redemption Group members can enjoy the Lounge Pass without travelling together with the member.
- Lounge Passes must be claimed online and are not available on the mobile app or at airport check-in.
- Lounge Passes must be claimed within 12 months of the date of issue.
- Lounge Passes for Green, Silver, and Gold members are valid for eligible Business Class departure lounges.
- Lounge Passes for Diamond members are valid for eligible First or Business Class departure lounges.
- No cancellation or change may be made after claiming Lounge Passes. The lounge invitation card must be presented when entering the lounge.
- In case of any flight irregularities, the member should contact the Marco Polo Club Service Centre for assistance.
- Lounge Pass entitlements are tier-specific and are not available to members on Membership Holiday.
- Cathay Pacific Airways reserves the right to interpret these terms and conditions.
