    If you’re looking to dazzle your partner, cocktail lounge Dragonfly is the perfect place to be – its emerald interiors have long been a favourite of the Instagram crowd. While they don’t offer a full dinner service, this bohemian cocktail bar does offer small bites such as mascarpone cheese and prosciutto crostinis and parmesan garlic fries, served alongside a fantastic cocktail menu. It’s an utterly romantic spot, full of art nouveau chandeliers and furniture inspired by the delicate pattern of dragonfly wings that will be sure to enchant any couple that chooses to enter.

    Korean celebrity chef Mingoo Kang is behind lauded Korean restaurant Hansik Goo, where guests can sample authentic Korean dishes with a Michelin-starred touch. Clothed in airy minimal interiors, the restaurant’s emphasis is on its ever-changing seasonal tasting menus. Expect dishes like jat naengchae – a seafood dish served with Korean pears, pine nut sauce and a poached egg – and grilled premium Hanwoo beef served over a bed of rice, baby oysters and dried daikon leaves. Book early as seats disappear quickly, especially given Hong Kong’s love of Korean cuisine.

    The French know a lot about love, and this fine dining restaurant continues the tradition. Feuille, meaning foliage, places focus on eco-centric cuisine, with a plant-forward menu that will keep both omnivores and vegetarians happy this Valentine’s Day. Tasting menus follow a seed to fruit cycle using French culinary techniques and feature unexpected ingredients like daikon and kombucha. Their wine cellar, meanwhile, is stocked with choices from sustainable vineyards – perfect for sipping on in a quiet corner of their cosy location in Sheung Wan.
