    Welcome to the Cathay Members’ Choice Awards. Our annual awards celebrate the very best in travel, dining and lifestyle – as voted for by you, our global community of members.

    Our panel of travel and lifestyle experts have stayed at some of the world’s most celebrated addresses. The below nominees make up their shortlist of the top hotels in Asia.  

    Of these nominees, we want to know who you think deserves to be crowned Asia’s most iconic hotel.  

    Voting is open to Cathay members from Monday, 26 May to Sunday, 15 June. You can learn more about the nominees below.

    This beautifully restored property on the outskirts of Shanghai transports you to a bygone era, with serene pavilions and stone courtyards that meld classical Chinese style with contemporary comforts. An ambitious restoration project saw 26 Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings saved from demolition, relocated, rebuilt and transformed into this luxury retreat.
