- The redemption of CommBank Awards points for global frequent traveller program points or miles is processed by Ascenda, who provide this service to us.
- If you redeem CommBank Awards points for Asia Miles via the Awards website or CommBank Awards Call Centre, we’ll give Ascenda your name and Cathay membership number so they can process your request. Please note that Ascenda is based overseas. For more information about how Ascenda manages your personal information, you can view their Privacy policy via this link.
- You need to be a member of Cathay to redeem CommBank Awards points for Asia miles and membership of Cathay is subject to the terms and conditions of the Cathay program.
- There is no minimum transfer size and transfer of Awards points must be in increments that convert to whole Asia Miles point values.
- Most points transfer requests are processed within 5-15 business days.
- Cathay member details (for example, name or membership number) provided must be correct or the points transfer may be rejected.
