This month, we caught up with Yule Shu, a flight attendant with Cathay Pacific, for his guide to his favourite city, London.
"I lived in London from the ages of seven to nine, while my mum was studying for her PhD. It became my second home even though I don’t remember it much. So this May, I planned a big trip back. Going back 25 years later as an adult felt like a journey of rediscovery."

I loved the Warner Bros. Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter. You can see all of the most memorable locations from the films, like the Great Hall at Hogwarts, Gringotts Bank and Diagon Alley. I made sure to wear my Ravenclaw sweater and scarf – go team Ravenclaw!
I also enjoyed wandering around London’s markets – Borough Market and Portobello Road Market are two of my favourites. I love the atmosphere, and, of course, the food. You can get great fish and chips at Borough Market. There’s also a shop that sells incredible toasted cheese sandwiches.
I highly recommend the restaurant Booking Office 1869 at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel. As its name suggests, it used to be the booking office of St Pancras station. The food is lovely, but the setting is what’s truly special. You feel as though you’ve been transported back to the 19th century.
While you’re at the hotel, you can tick off another must-do: taking a photo on the staircase where the Spice Girls filmed the music video for Wannabe.
A power bank. I forgot to take one with me on the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, and my phone ran out of battery because I took so many photos.
