While The Wing, First undergoes an exciting transformation*, The Bridge has reopened with new features to suit travellers of all kinds. Allow little ones to explore the Family Corner, take work calls in the meeting room or enjoy some extra privacy in our new Diamond Suite, available exclusively to Diamond members and First class passengers. A range of dining options will keep hunger at bay, while original artworks from our Gallery in the skies project will have you feeling inspired ahead of your travels.
Alternatively, Plaza Premium operates three airside lounges for passengers with the necessary credit card status or those who pay the entry fee, plus another lounge near departure Gate 1, where eligible passengers can enjoy the Plaza Premium First experience.

Ensuring you’re refreshed, well-fed and hydrated before your outbound or connecting flight is easy at HKIA. You’ll find several water dispensing stations dotted around, with hot and tepid water available. If you want to stay connected, Wi-Fi is available free of charge, with designated high-speed zones and charging stations located throughout the passenger terminals.
Travellers with a long layover at HKIA can stretch out in the Resting Lounges throughout Terminal 1 – you’ll get a nice view of the apron here, too. You can also make a pit stop at the various Recharge Zones , which are decked out with working stations andpadded reclining chairs. Meanwhile,family-friendly areas known as the Buzz Zones and Wonder Zonesfeaturee cartoons to keep youngsters entertained.

In addition to the Recharge Zones, Terminal 1 boasts two themed play areas; younger travellers can immerse themselves in virtual reality experiences and video games at The Wonder Zone , while The Buzz Zone will keep them busy with interactive games and playground facilities.
More excitement awaits children aged 6 through 12 at Wonder Eggshell in Terminal 1. This unique play space features a giant eggshell structure that connects to climbing nets, slides and a curved net tunnel, offering the perfect way for kids to burn their energy for a peaceful flight ahead.

HKIA provides two Caring Corners , dedicated spaces designed to support travellers with special needs, including those with reduced mobility, the elderly and pregnant women. Near Gate 36 and the transfer desk, you’ll find comfortable seating, a flight information display screen and a help phone. Additionally, near Gate 69, there’s a fully accessible, barrier-free changing room , complete with clean and comfortable toilet and shower facilities, handlebars and a full-length changing bed.
If you’ve got time for a snap, some of the most photogenic views are from the Sky Bridge, an impressive 200-metre walkway (parts of which are transparent) that connects Terminal 1 and the T1 Satellite Concourse. The wrap-around windows and sections of glass floor allow you to watch planes taxi beneath your feet. If you want to bask in fantastic views over a delicious cocktail, spend a happy hour at Intervals Sky Bar and Restaurant .
For a breath of fresh air or a dose of vitamin D, continue your stroll to the end of the Sky Bridge where you’ll find the Sky Deck, complete with seating areas and binoculars for sightseeing.
When you're ready to board, make your way to the gate. You’ll be glad to start your journey relaxed and well rested.
