    Taiwan Rakuten Card

    Since its launch in 2015, the Taiwan Rakuten Card has provided a wide range of credit card benefits for travelling in Japan, shopping and VIP room discounts. In recent years, it has integrated with the Taiwanese Rakuten ecosystem and collaborated with domestic partners to offer promotions for e-commerce, sports, e-books, travel, dining, payments and more. With the release of the new travel card in 2025, cardholders can enjoy benefits both at home and abroad while accumulating Taiwan Rakuten Card Travel Points, which are redeemable for Asia Miles.

    Highlights

    A minimum conversion requirement applies. Please check the detailed information on the Taiwan Rakuten Card website. 

    1.    Once the Taiwan Rakuten Card Travel Points have been converted into Asia Miles, they cannot be reversed.

    2.    It may take 12-21 days for the point conversion.

    3.    Please provide the correct Cathay Pacific’s Cathay membership number when applying for conversion. Failure to provide the membership number accurately and in full or if the Cathay Pacific’s Cathay membership account is invalid during the miles crediting will render the account invalid and be considered abandonment.

    4.    Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, Asia Miles Limited and Taiwan Rakuten Card reserve the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. 

    5.    In case of any dispute, the decision of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, Asia Miles Limited and Taiwan Rakuten Card will be final.
