What is the Greater Bay Area?

The Greater Bay Area (also known as the GBA) connects Hong Kong, Macao and nine cities in Guangdong province, forming a fast-growing innovation hub with global influence in the southern Chinese Mainland. But the region’s appeal extends far beyond business.

Getting there and back

We offer convenient ways to travel between HKIA and the GBA. Passengers can seamlessly connect to the region's major ports via high-speed ferry, coach or limousine transfers, while Park & Fly offers an extra layer of convenience. 

Note: passengers travelling to Hong Kong via our coach and ferry transfers from the GBA or Park & Fly are exempt from the air passenger departure tax. If your ferry or coach ticket is purchased separately from your flight, or you’re travelling via Park & Fly, you may apply for a refund of the departure tax. Learn more .
