Nagoya, Japan: Legoland Japan Resort 

If you’re planning a trip to Japan with little ones, slower-paced Nagoya offers a balance of ease and adventure, and you’ll especially want to add Legoland Japan to your itinerary. The resort is located near both Chubu Centrair International Airport and the city centre, making it especially convenient to travel to with kids in tow. 

As Japan’s first Legoland, the world class park is divided into eight themed areas with over 40 rides and experiences altogether. Make sure your children meet the height requirements for the park before making the trip over to avoid disappointment. Seoul, South Korea: Nami Island 

Nami Island is located roughly two hours northeast of Seoul by ferry, with many enjoyable day tours available for this idyllic island leaving from the capital.

Once you land on the island, an excellent starting point for the whole family is at Petite France , a pastel-coloured French-style village inspired by the novella ‘A Little Prince’. Afterwards, a ride on the RailBike along the old Gyeongchun Line will take you through an endlessly picturesque stretch of rustic fields along the Bukhangang river – where you might even spot a wild peacock or two.

Melbourne, Australia: Phillip Island 

When it comes to family fun in Australia, there’s nowhere quite like Melbourne. There are lots of things to do with kids in the city, however, there’s one standout activity you and your little ones won’t want to miss.  

Phillip Island is home to a thriving variety of animals, including whales, seals, birds, and the world’s largest colony of little penguins – all within a three-hour drive from Melbourne. If you don’t fancy driving yourself, there are plenty of local tour operators who offer day trips to the island, allowing you to take in the sights as you go. If you’re able to break away from the animal watching and sightseeing, other exciting detours worth visiting include A Maze ‘N Things theme park, the Panny’s Amazing World of Chocolate factory, and Clip’n’Climb , an indoor wall climbing attraction. 

London, United Kingdom: Greenwich and the Warner Bros. Studio Tour

It’s a journey of discovery through Canada’s entirety, with changing sights around the clock.
