    After your purchase, you'll receive a booking confirmation email with event ticket redemption details.

    Step 2

    Event tickets will be available for redemption via the HKCR Ticketing app. An SMS will be sent to the device you provided during booking. If you already have the app, you'll receive a notification directly. You can also download in advance. For flight tickets issued on or before 3 November 2024, you can access your event ticket on the HKCR ticketing app from 7 November 2024. For flight tickets issued on or after 4 November 2024, you can access your event ticket on the HKCR ticketing app within 7 calendar days from the date your flight ticket is issued.     Register and complete the mobile SMS authentication. You can access your tickets under “My Tickets” in the app.

    Step 2

    Click on “Invite Contact” to invite your contact to download the app^.

    Select the person under “My Contacts” and select “Transfer Ticket”#.

    Click on “Invite Contact” to invite your contact to download the app^.

    The transfer will take place after confirming the transfer ticket and you will see a transfer confirmation screen.

    *If the person to whom you want to transfer a ticket is not in your contacts, use the “Send via phone number” option. Enter the number and follow the instructions.

    Important Information

    To prevent ticket fraud, the app detects any screenshots made of the ticket and clearly identifies this for staff at the entrance. The system may cancel a ticket that has been screenshotted. Therefore, please use the ticket within the app for entry instead of a screenshot.

    No, the Hong Kong Sevens travel packages are only available for sale online via cathaypacific.com, holiday.cathaypacific.com or selected accredited travel agents.

    No, all Hong Kong Sevens tickets are only available in digital QR code accessible on the HKCR Ticketing app.

    No, the Hong Kong Sevens travel packages with flights, or flights with hotels, are offered in a bundle with the 3-day pass.

    You can transfer your tickets to others in the HKCR Ticketing app, and there will not be any name checking on the day of the event.

    All infants aged 2 years and under can enter the Hong Kong Sevens event free of charge when accompanied by an adult in possession of a Hong Kong Sevens adult ticket. To book flights only for an infant, please contact Customer Care Team to issue the infant ticket and add to your booking. Children (between ages 2 and 12) will need a ticket to enter the Hong Kong Sevens event, and our event ticket fare will be the same as an adult.
