During the Promotion Period, an eligible user can earn the trip rewards in the form of Asia Miles (“Summer Trip Rewards”) subject to these Terms and Conditions. 

This promotion will commence on 24 July 2026 at 12:00am Hong Kong Time (HKT) and end on 30 September 2026 at 11:59pm Hong Kong Time (HKT), both dates inclusive (“Promotion  Period”).

An “Eligible Trip” means (a) an  Uber Taxi trip, including Meter Taxi trips, booked via the Uber App and taken in Hong Kong during the Promotion Period; or (b) an Uber trip booked via the Uber App and taken in Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand or Taiwan, China (the “Designated Locations”) during the Promotion Period, in each case subject to the criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions. Cancelled or refunded trips, or any Eligible Trip where the total amount actually payable by the Eligible User is HK$0 (including where fully offset by credits, promotions or discounts), shall not qualify for Asia Miles.

In addition to the Asia Miles which may be awarded under the Cathay x Uber Taxi Asia Miles campaign (“General Trip Rewards Campaign”), Eligible Users who complete an Eligible Trip during the Promotional Period can earn the following Asia Miles   (the “Offer”):  

• 80 miles in total on each completed Uber Taxi trip taken to or from the Hong Kong International Airport, instead of the 40 Asia Miles otherwise applicable under the General Trip Rewards Campaign , and 

• 40 miles for each completed Uber trip taken in the Designated Locations.

Asia Miles awarded under this Offer will be calculated at the end of each day, and will be credited to the linked Cathay membership account within 2 to 4 weeks, subject to system processing. Eligible Users shall notify Uber if they have not received the Asia Miles under this Offer by 31 October 2026; otherwise, the relevant Asia Miles  will be forfeited absolutely. Uber and Asia Miles Limited (“AML”) accept no liability whatsoever and shall not be held liable for any compensation.

Summer Trip Rewards will be granted to Eligible Users on a first-come-first-serve basis.

If an Eligible User cancels any Eligible Trip, or any Eligible Trip is  otherwise cancelled or refunded, Uber and/or AML have the sole discretion and the right to forfeit, cancel or reverse the relevant Asia Miles  credited to the Eligible User’s Cathay membership account under this Offer without prior notice.

Other terms and conditions apply to this Offer, including the Uber General Terms of Use in Hong Kong and in each Designated Location, the Terms and Conditions for the General Trip Rewards Campaign (only to the extent they are not inconsistent with this Offer), and Cathay Terms and Conditions . The applicable Uber General Terms of Use for each Designated Location are available at the relevant country-specific Uber legal pages .

Each Uber App user may only have one Uber App account. If Uber has reasonable grounds to suspect that a user is creating fraudulent accounts or otherwise violating the Uber General Terms of Use   and/or the  Community Guidelines , Uber may suspend or terminate the Uber App user’s account and/or that Uber App users may lose eligibility to participate in this Offer.

If Uber and/or AML determine, at their sole discretion, that a person has committed any fraud and/or abuse, in relation to the Offer, that person will forfeit their eligibility to receive the Offer.

Any and all questions related to this Offer or trip should be reported to Uber via the “Help” section in the Uber App.

Uber and AML reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time and to vary or terminate the Offer at any time without prior notice. A user who continues to take Uber or Uber Taxi trips after the update to these Terms and Conditions indicates his/her agreement to be bound by the updated Terms and Conditions.

In case of any disputes concerning this Offer, the decision of Uber and AML shall be final and binding.

If there is any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
