    Membership status qualifications

    The table below indicates the number of Status Points required to renew or upgrade a membership status within a membership year. In addition to these points, the member must fly at least one eligible sector on Cathay Pacific.

    When you join Cathay, you'll become a Green member. A membership year lasts 12 months from the date you enrolled, renewed, upgraded or downgraded into your current member status. Upon renewal, upgrade or downgrade, your Status Points will automatically be reset to zero, and a new membership year begins. No annual membership fee shall be charged.

    Upgrades occur as soon as you accrue enough Status Points to enter the next status threshold within a membership year. As multiple status upgrades are not allowed, you can only progress one membership status at a time.
