1. The booking period starts from 25 August 2025 and ends on 31 October 2025, inclusive.
2. The car pick-up period starts from 25 August 2025 and ends on 15 December 2025, inclusive.
3. Cathay members can earn 1,000 bonus miles per rental, on top of 3 miles per USD spent on qualifying rental with minimum 3 to 4 consecutive days’ rental (min. 72 hours rental) during the promotion period.
4. Cathay members can earn 1,500 bonus miles per rental, on top of 3 miles per USD spent on qualifying rental with minimum 5 consecutive days’ rental (min. 120 hours rental) during the promotion period.
5. If the rental is in non-USD currency, then the currency will be changed to USD at the Avis Exchange rate applicable on date of rental commencement (the date the car is collected).
6. A maximum of 10,000 Asia Miles will be awarded per qualifying rental.
7. Bonus Asia Miles are applicable to participating Avis locations in the Africa, Asia Pacific, Canada, Europe, Middle East and the USA (exclude Alaska) only.
8. The Bonus Asia Miles are valid for rentals with car group C or above only.
9. Booking confirmation is subject to car availability and 24 hours advance booking prior to the rental car pick-up time is required for the promotion.
10. To qualify for the bonus Asia Miles, members must book on the dedicated Avis – Cathay Pacific website and select “Cathay Membership” on “Customer Type” field. Members must quote their Cathay membership number when making their reservation. The Cathay - Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number will apply to member’s reservation automatically.
11. Bonus Asia Miles will be credited to the member’s account 4 to 6 weeks after the completion of each eligible car rental.
12. Miles will be awarded on rentals made for a maximum length of 28 consecutive days. Any additional days will not be eligible to earn Miles.
13. Miles will be awarded on the base rental rate (time and mileage only) and not on taxes, fuel or additional fees, will exclude any charges for damage (actual damage charges or insurance excesses charged due to damage).
14. Miles can only be earned on one frequent flyer programme for each qualifying self-drive rental at participating locations.
15. Cathay members will be eligible to earn miles only if the full name in the rental agreement matches the full name in the membership account.
16. Renters can only claim miles for their own rentals, i.e. only one rental at a time. Consecutive or conjunctive rentals will not qualify for Asia Miles – only the first qualifying rental in such situations will be awarded Asia Miles.
17. If any AWD number other than Cathay’s AWD number is present in the rental booking, no Bonus Miles will be awarded.
18. If any AWD number other than Cathay’s AWD number is present in a customer’s Avis Preferred profile and used in the rental booking, no Bonus Miles will be awarded and once booked, this cannot be reversed.
19. To qualify, rentals must include the Cathay membership number of the first named driver (the "renter) at the time of reservation. The Cathay membership card must be presented at the location during vehicle pick-up.
20. Mileage accruals are based strictly on non-contracted rates only.
21. Rentals made using Avis contracted (corporate/government) rates/AWDs, chauffeur-drive, or van rentals do not qualify for promotional/bonus Asia Miles. Monthly rental, long term rental, travel industry staff rates, replacement/insurance rates, selected association programmes, and nett rate programmes do not qualify for miles earning.
22. This promotion is not valid on Avis Prestige, Avis Signature Series and Avis Select Series rentals worldwide.
23. Renter must meet standard Avis age, driver and credit requirements and advance booking is required.
24. Blackout dates may apply.
25. These offers cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
