Now that Autumn is in full swing, ’tis the season for celebration, starting with Thanksgiving. Whether you’re in it for the turkey or the joyous gathering with friends, there’s plenty to be thankful for this year – especially when it comes to the Thanksgiving menus to be enjoyed  at these Hong Kong restaurants.

Featuring decadent turkey feasts, everyone’s favourite sweet pies (are you a pumpkin or pecan?), and an alternative option or two, these are the best Thanksgiving menus to enjoy around Hong Kong.

    For the traditionalist

    Sweet potatoes
    Roasted turkey

    Smoke & Barrel

There’s nothing more American than a good ol’ fashioned smokehouse BBQ – and no one does it better than Smoke & Barrel in Hong Kong. Their Thanksgiving menu is designed to share, with the main course taking centre stage: a smoked meat platter featuring their signature smoked meats, turkey plate with cranberry, and seared salmon with a dill sauce, served with traditional Thanksgiving sides like Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Save space for dessert (the cobbler is a must-try), and wash it all down with a warming mulled wine or cider.

Main St. Deli (The Langham, Hong Kong)

To celebrate Thanksgiving, for one day only The Langham’s Main St. Deli is rolling out a comforting menu for lunch and dinner. Start with a zesty beetroot and orange salad with dried cranberries, pomegranate, feta and more, before tucking into an autumnal roasted pumpkin cream soup with parmesan cheese flan. For mains, there’s a traditional roasted turkey or pan-fried halibut, and for dessert, something a little different: a pumpkin cake with cream cheese and cinnamon frosting.

This is also one of Cathay’s partner restaurants, so you can take advantage of great promotions when you dine at Main St. Deli.

    For something a little different

The mashed sweet potatoes at Percy's in Hong Kong

If you’re on the hunt for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with a twist, look no further than Percy’s. This buzzing SoHo spot is serving a lavish spread of classic dishes such as roasted turkey, mushroom and sausage stuffing, and sweet potatoes with sweet pecans, accompanied by a taste of Chef Braden Reardon’s iconic cured seafood: swordfish bacon, oozing with umami flavour. Free-flow packages are available for those in the mood for merrymaking, but don’t forget to save space for everyone’s favourite: a pumpkin pie, spiced to perfection.

    Megan’s Kitchen

Don’t fancy a turkey dinner this year? Opt for hotpot at Megan’s Kitchen instead. It may not be the most traditional of Thanksgiving meals, but it’s a great option for gathering with friends and family – and really, isn’t that what Thanksgiving is all about? The drunken crispy coconut chicken soup hotpot set is a crowd favourite, and there’s even a drunken crispy coconut soup option for the meat-free crowd. Choose from favourites such as Miyazaki A5 Wagyu beef and razor clams, or plant-based Omnipork meatballs.

Megan’s Kitchen is also one of our partner restaurants, which means you can take advantage of our great promotions when you choose to dine here.

    For the sweet tooth

    Pecan pie
    Pumpkin pie

    Butter Cake Shop

Prefer to forgo mains in favour of dessert? Who can blame you when Butter’s pies look and taste so good? Choose from Thanksgiving classics such as their creamy pumpkin and rich pecan pie, or go for a uniquely American option: a scrumptious toasted marshmallow, chocolate and graham cracker s’mores cake. There’s no dine-in option at Butter, but turning up to a friend’s Thanksgiving party with one of these desserts is sure to be a winning move.
