For business travellers, high-profile figures and our Cathay Diamond members, seamless travel is far more than a nice-to-have. No one understands that better than we do, which is why we’ve expanded our collaboration with Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre (HKBAC) to bring you JetLink.

This premier wing-to-wing transfer service from HKBAC provides seamless connections for our Business and First class passengers transiting from Cathay Pacific planes to private aircraft.

“We are constantly seeking new ways to elevate the travel experience for our customers,” said Cheuk Lo, Cathay Pacific’s General Manager Airport Service Delivery. “With a growing demand for smooth, time-saving connections, this collaboration allows us to offer our Business and First class passengers the highest standards of security, efficiency, privacy and comfort throughout their transit journey.”

Connecting people and places is one of Hong Kong’s defining roles, and as the city’s flagship airline, we regularly serve those flying long-haul into Hong Kong before continuing onward to regional or international destinations via private jet. Upgrading our partnership with HKBAC is a natural step towards even more effortless travel.

“HKBAC has been recognised as Best Asian  Fixed-based Operator (FBO) for 18 consecutive years,” says Vivien Lau, CEO of HKBAC.

She adds: “This collaboration strengthens Hong Kong’s role as a true aviation gateway – linking long-haul commercial flights with fast, flexible private travel across Mainland China and Southeast Asia. Cathay Pacific’s extensive long-haul network and flight frequency allows us to offer passengers a wider range of options with greater flexibility.

“We’re not just connecting flights; we’re creating a new kind of travel experience.”

When it comes to time-sensitive journeys, every minute counts. JetLink can on average reduce your transfer time by up to one-third – from 75 minutes to 45 minutes – delivering a whole new level of convenience and personalisation.

The service begins immediately at the arrival gate. Passengers are greeted by a dedicated HKBAC staff member who personally escorts them to a private limousine. They are then chauffeured airside to HKBAC’s own Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) hall –  ensuring a seamless transition that avoids the commercial terminal and its multiple checkpoints and queues.

To facilitate a smooth process while maintaining the highest level of security, HKBAC works with Cathay Pacific to manage baggage transfers, confirm travel documents and liaise with security checkpoints. Every detail is discreetly handled prior to boarding from the passenger’s origin of departure to ensure optimal privacy, safety, and convenience. When plans change suddenly, the JetLink team adapts just as quickly.

"JetLink is designed to be flexible. In case of delay, our team works closely with Cathay Pacific and private jet operators to adjust timing, prioritise security screening, or expedite transfers where needed. As an FBO, we’re able to provide agile, case-by-case support that enhances the passenger experience,” says Lau.

In between flights, passengers will be hosted in the exclusive HKBAC lounge: a quiet space to relax, refresh and recharge. Help yourself to a curated selection of refreshments and make use of the lounge’s dedicated facilities, which include a fully equipped relaxation suite for unwinding.

Fancy an Old Fashioned or a bespoke afternoon tea set on board your private flight? No problem; make your requirements known to the JetLink team in advance and staff will coordinate with charter flight operators and third-party catering to tailor your experience to your needs.

On their return journeys via Hong Kong, passengers can expect the same seamless transfer service. You’ll be guided smoothly from your private aircraft to our award-winning Cathay Pacific lounges such as The Bridge or The Pier, Business, ensuring the final leg of your journey is as easy and enjoyable as the first.
