The Cathay Pacific's Cathay Members’ Choice Awards celebrate the most exceptional travel and lifestyle experiences across Hong Kong, Asia and beyond. But what does it take to become a winner?

We’ve assembled a panel of the most influential and knowledgeable travel experts and Cathay Pacific's Cathay members to curate a shortlist of the very best. Then, it’s down to you – our community of discerning travellers – to cast your votes and determine the ultimate winners.

After all, creating a definitive list of the very best in travel and lifestyle demands rigour, insight and taste. But the final verdict? That’s yours alone.

How it works

Learn more about how the winners are chosen.

Step 1:

The expert panel and Cathay Pacific's Cathay members submit their nominations which are consolidated into the final shortlist.

Step 2:

Cathay Pacific's Cathay member voting begins 1 June 2026 and ends 21 June 2026.

Step 3:

Voting is divided into five mini-surveys covering Dining, Travel & Lifestyle, Hotels, Destinations and Hong Kong.

Step 4:

Winners are revealed online and in our inflight magazine in August 2026.

Our 15 panellists are prominent tastemakers and authorities in travel, dining and lifestyle. They’ve based their nominations on their extensive experience and knowledge, taking into account design, service, creativity, uniqueness, facilities, innovation, popularity and overall experience.

What happens next?

Once the nominees are confirmed, Cathay Pacific's Cathay members can vote for their favourite experiences across 15 categories in five mini-surveys between 1–21 June, after which we’ll compile and share the results with you. And as a thank you, you’ll receive Cathay Pacific's Cathay member-exclusive offers from select winners.
