What are Status Points and how do I earn them?
Status Points are the way you qualify for your membership status. You can earn Status Points when you fly on Cathay Pacific or oneworld airlines, which are calculated based on a combination of airline, cabin, fare class or fare type, and distance travelled. To find out how much you’ll earn from a flight, check out our Status Points and Asia Miles calculator. The exact number of points and miles earned from a particular flight will appear during the booking process and on the Manage Booking page once you’ve booked your flight.
You can also earn up to 100 Status Points for HKD500,000 Eligible Transactions on the Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard (HK market only). Apply here.
