“As a Cathay fan, what better way is there to celebrate the airline’s 80th anniversary than by starting the year with a voyage? I even dressed my baby up in a cute uniform onesie , complete with a small scarf.
“Upon stepping into the Aria Suite, the atmosphere changed: soft lighting, spacious seats, lots of texture. As the plane soared into the sky, I looked at my little travel companion in the mini crew uniform and thought about how Cathay has flown us over time, from one generation to the next. For me, the best way to celebrate Cathay’s anniversary is taking off with the people who matter most.”

“I've got my eye on the limited-edition Classic eras film camera , specifically the Connecting to the World model. That sharp green hue of the ‘lettuce leaf sandwich’ livery captures such an iconic part of Cathay’s history.
“The revival of vintage cabin crew uniforms is also a unique and unexpected touch. It’s fascinating to see these designs bring different eras to life – it feels like travelling back in time!”

“I’m most excited about celebrating the Lunar New Year with Cathay’s limited-edition merchandise, from the red packets modeled on classic cabin crew uniforms to the Year of the Horse gift box. You can see that Cathay has put a lot of thought into commemorating its 80th anniversary!”

“As a fan of souvenirs bearing historical and cultural significance, I’m keen to check out Cathay’s 80th anniversary merchandise. The new collection is like a delicately curated trip down memory lane. The Airbus A350-900 80th anniversary model aircraft with the ‘lettuce leaf sandwich’ livery is probably my favourite – who can say no to those beautiful green stripes!”

“I can’t wait to see Cathay’s vintage cabin crew uniforms grace the aircraft aisles once more. My mum was cabin crew in the 1980s, so I’m hoping to see the Hermès-designed blouse with the elegant bow that she wore back then.”
