Yes, you can link and earn points with a debit card. To help ensure your purchases are tracked, we recommend using the following payment methods where available:
Payment Terminal (Insert/Swipe): Use your linked Visa or Mastercard debit card by inserting or swiping it at a payment terminal. When prompted, select ‘Credit’ instead of ‘Debit’ to help ensure your transaction is tracked.
Digital Wallet (Apple Pay): Transactions made via Apple Pay using a linked Visa or Mastercard are eligible.
Online Payments: Online purchases made with a linked Visa or Mastercard debit card are tracked and eligible.
Please note that when using a debit card, the following payment methods may not be tracked and therefore may not earn Asia Miles:
Google Pay: We recommend avoiding Google Pay for purchases. To help ensure your transactions are tracked, please use one of the payment methods listed above.
Contactless Payments (Tap): Some in-store payments may not be tracked due to Merchant Choice Routing enabled by certain retailers.
