Miles accrual is applicable only to specific sectors. Please refer to the important notes for details.

Worldwide

Asia Miles can be earned only in eligible fare classes on: 

  1. Auckland – Hong Kong and Hong Kong – Auckland flights marketed and operated by Air New Zealand
  2. Auckland – Hong Kong and Hong Kong – Auckland codeshare flights marketed by Air New Zealand and operated by Cathay Pacific
  3. Christchurch – Hong Kong and Hong Kong – Christchurch codeshare flights marketed by Air New Zealand and operated by Cathay Pacific

Earn

  1.  Additional restrictions in relation to the accrual of miles via air travel may apply from time to time and fare classes that accrue and do not accrue miles are subject to change.
  2.  Certain fares and flights are not eligible for earning miles. These include industry / agency discounts, award travel, prize, donation, group and other special discounted tickets, chartered flights and certain codeshare flights.
  3.  Please note that miles can only be earned once per ticket or flight in any one frequent flyer programme, regardless of the number of seats purchased or occupied by a member. Members must travel on the flight using the ticket purchased in order to receive miles. Miles will not be awarded for unused or refunded tickets. Airline Award Travel is not eligible to accrue mileage.
