1. Asia Miles cannot be earned in conjunction with gift on purchase or any other promotional offer.
2. To qualify for Asia Miles, members must quote the Asia Miles-For Business/Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number K305700 when they make their reservation and present their Cathay membership card when picking up their vehicle.
3. Reservation must be made using a business email address. If a business email address is not used on reservation and rental, member can only earn 500 Asia Miles.
4. Self-drive rentals with Avis Prestige, Avis Select Series, Avis Signature Series, van rentals and chauffeur-drive services do not qualify for Asia Miles. Asia Miles cannot be earned on corporate contracted rates, travel industry staff rates, replacement/insurance rates, selected association programmes, monthly rentals, award rentals and net rate programmes.
5. Asia Miles can only be earned on one frequent flyer programme for each qualifying self-drive rental at participating locations.
6. Members will be eligible to earn Asia Miles only if the name in the car rental agreement matches the name in their Asia Miles membership account.
7. Members can only claim Asia Miles for their own rental, i.e. for only one rental at a time.
8. Consecutive or conjunctive rentals will not qualify for Asia Miles – only the first qualifying rental in such situations will be awarded Asia Miles.
9. If any other AWD number is present in the car rental booking form, no Asia Miles will be awarded.
10. If any other AWD number is present in the member’s Avis Preferred profile and this is used in the car rental booking form, no Asia Miles will be awarded. Once the booking is made, this cannot be reversed.
11. Asia Miles will be credited to the member’s account 6 to 8 weeks after each successful transaction.
12. Asia Miles cannot be earned for cancelled or refunded bookings.
13. Missing mileage claims must be made within 180 days of the conclusion of each qualifying rental.
14. To claim missing Asia Miles, the original car rental agreement copy is required. Members are required to retain copies of the agreement until the Asia Miles are credited to their account.
15. Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and Avis reserve the right to amend any of these terms and conditions.
16. All matters and disputes will be subject to the final decision of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and Avis.
