    1. App time

Last year certainly paved the way, but 2025 is set to be the year of sleep tourism. If you’re looking for an app to enhance your sleep during your stay, both Langham Hospitality Group and Grand Hyatt Singapore have partnered with leading wellness apps. Langham’s Sleep Matters by Chuan programme offers a 30 per cent discount on a one-year premium subscription to the AI sleep analysis app Sleep Cycle, which includes sleep tracking and snore detection technology. Meanwhile, Grand Hyatt Singapore’s Sleep at Hyatt campaign provides a curated sleep kit with Ikou products and access to a Headspace meditation app trial.

    2. Now to bed

From pillow menus becoming a standard offering to the proliferation of multi-day holistic sleep retreats, the trend for optimising your rest is only set to grow in step with our understanding of how much sleep affects our mental and physical wellbeing. Try slumber-inducing therapies like The Standard, Hua Hin’s Good Vibrations sound healing experience – designed to calm the nervous system, clear the mind and induce deep relaxation. Sounds bliss.

    3. Dream train

Speaking of luxurious sleep experiences, Belmond will launch L’Observatoire, a new private carriage on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, next month. Created by French artist JR, this beautiful sleeper carriage features design elements inspired by astronomical observatories, including an oculus-shaped skylight and Renaissance Europe’s cabinets of curiosity. Inside, there’s a bedroom with a freestanding bathtub, a lounge, a library and a hidden Tea Room, offering an immersive experience that blends art, luxury and the spirit of adventure.

These include the Circadian Syncing Deep Sleep Treatment and Oskia’s Bespoke Warm Oil Body Massage, both designed to promote relaxation and improve sleep quality.
