Asia on top: Destinations across Asia came out first, winning awards for All-time favourite Cathay Pacific destination and World’s best city for a long weekend.
Famous addresses: The world’s best hotels need no introduction – and some of our previous winners over the years are so impressive they’ve clinched even more titles this year.
Tastes of the Chinese Mainland: The country's culinary diversity stole the spotlight, with Chinese restaurants winning the popular vote in several categories.

How it works
Step 1:
The expert panel and Cathay members submit their nominations which are consolidated into the final shortlist.
Step 2:
Cathay member voting begins 1 June 2026 and ends 21 June 2026.
Step 3:
Voting is divided into five mini-surveys covering Dining, Travel & Lifestyle, Hotels, Hong Kong, and Destinations.
Step 4:
Winners are revealed online and in our inflight magazine in August 2026.
