Miles Plus Cash

With Miles Plus Cash, you can purchase:

• Tickets for any flights, including flights with our partner airlines, provided that they are available and booked on our website or by contacting Customer Care.*
• Selected travel extras, provided that they are available and purchased through Manage Booking on our website, by contacting Customer Care or during check-in at the airport.

All Cathay members can pay with Miles Plus Cash (Note: a minimum spend of 5,000 miles is required for each flight ticket booking , while there’s no minimum spend requirement for separate travel extras purchases).

Yes, you can use Miles Plus Cash to pay for advance seat reservations and extra baggage when purchasing through Manage Booking, by contacting Customer Care or during check-in at the airport*. Note: Miles Plus Cash is currently not available for other travel extras.

• Purchases made at airports in India and Nepal
• Extra baggage purchases on certain itineraries involving flights marketed by other airlines
• Overweight charges for baggage over 32kg / 70lbs
• Oversized baggage charges

Yes, you can change your flight bookings in Manage Booking or by contacting Customer Care. You can also transfer your travel extras to your new flight by contacting Customer Care.

Refunds will be made according to the applicable fare rules and our usual terms and conditions.

Cancellations fees and your used flight ticket / travel extra value, if applicable, will be deducted from the amount paid in cash first. Any outstanding amount will then be deducted from the amount paid by miles*. The remaining amount for the unused portion will be refunded in miles and/or cash accordingly.
