What is Guaranteed Seat Reservation?
Guaranteed Seat Reservation is a benefit for Gold and Diamond members that allows them to reserve a seat on any flight, no matter how full it is. Gold and Diamond members can request a guaranteed seat in Economy Class (Y with Essential, Flex or Light) for Cathay Pacific flights. Diamond members can also request a guaranteed seat in Premium Economy Class (W), and Business Class (J) on Cathay Pacific flights only. This is applicable only to full fare tickets. Requests for Guaranteed Seat Reservations can be made via the Customer Care Team.
At times, this benefit may be suspended without prior notice for operational reasons. If that happens, Cathay Pacific will endeavour to offer an alternative solution.
