Whitehead Barbecue: Seas the Day

Located in Ma On Shan, Whitehead Barbecue  is one of Hong Kong’s most popular venues of its kind, partly thanks to its panoramic view of Tolo Harbour and the Pat Sin Leng mountain range. Its close proximity to Wu Kai Sha Beach means plenty of water activities are available, but those who prefer to stay dry can also rent out one of the seaside villas for some karaoke and mahjong to go along with Whitehead’s signature grilled suckling pig.

The cycling trail between Tai Wai and Tai Po offers plenty of natural scenery. And at the end of the path, in Tai Mei Tuk, is where you’ll find BBQ Party : a 400,000-square-foot venue offering self-service Korean-, Chongqing- and Hong Kong-style barbecues. A large playground is also situated on-site to keep the little ones occupied.

Great Wall BBQ Palace: Island of Fire

Lamma Island is one of Hong Kong’s most beloved outlying islands, with plenty of hiking trails and beaches for all kinds of outdoor activities. A 30-minute walk from Yung Shue Wan ferry pier, at Hung Shing Yeh Beach, you’ll find Great Wall BBQ Place , where visitors can jump into the sea before setting up a campfire grill by the shore.
