Mid-status benefits for members

Once you earn a certain number of Status Points you'll unlock this mid-status benefit, which you can enjoy yourself or gift to a travel companion or redemption group nominee. The Lounge Pass is applicable to Cathay Pacific-operated lounges only.

How to earn a mid-status Lounge Pass 

When you become a Cathay member, you’ll start earning Status Points and exclusive benefits. We’ll automatically add your Lounge Pass to your account once you reach your Status Points milestone.

How to use your Lounge Pass

You can use your Lounge Passes via our Cathay Pacific app or Asia Miles by Cathay app. Here’s how.

To use for yourself or your travel companion

To share with to your Redemption Group nominee

The Lounge Pass will be shared with your nominee’s Cathay account. Once shared, your nominee should follow the steps in the section “To use for yourself or your travel companion” to use the Lounge Pass.  

For Redemption Group nominees that are not Cathay members, they will receive the Lounge Pass by email. Follow the instructions on the email to use the Lounge Pass. 

To cancel a Lounge Pass that has been shared

A cancellation email will be sent to the redemption group nominee. The Lounge Pass will be added back to your 'My rewards'.
