How does Upgrade Bid work?

  1. If your booking is eligible, you’ll see an invitation banner on the booking confirmation page on our website, and you may also receive an email invitation no less than four days prior to departure if you have subscribed to our newsletter. Alternatively, please check your eligibility on the Upgrade Bid page or through Manage Booking.
  2. Bids must be submitted within a preset price range. The amount payable for Upgrade Bid is separate from and additional to the amount paid for the original ticket.
  3. You can make, change or cancel your Upgrade Bid any time before 50 hours to departure.
  4. You’ll receive an email between 48 to 24 hours prior to the departure of your flight, informing you if your bid has been successful or unsuccessful.
  5. Only successful bids will be charged.
