What happens to members on a membership holiday?

If you request a membership holiday in 2026, both your membership holiday and status will end on 31 December 2026 at the latest, regardless of when the membership holiday begins or your membership period would have ended under the existing programme. Please note that during a membership holiday, you will not earn Status Points. However, your membership status in 2027 will still be assessed based on the total number of Status Points earned in 2026. 

For members already on membership holidays in 2026 as of 14 October 2025, we will notify you about the transition arrangements by email by the end of November 2025.
