United Kingdom – eVisa and ETA Updates

The United Kingdom is transitioning to a digital immigration system. Travellers must ensure they hold the required digital permission before departure. This may include a UK eVisa, valid resident status or an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA).

European Union – Entry/Exit System (EES)

The European Union is introducing the Entry/Exit System (EES), which will gradually replace manual passport stamping for non-EU travellers entering the EU/Schengen area. Passengers entering the EU/Schengen area for the first time will be required to register biometric data at border control, which may result in longer wait times on arrival.
