19 Nov 2010

(HONG KONG) Dragonair is proud to be named ‘Best Airline Economy Class’ in the 2010 Business Traveller China Awards ceremony on 17 November.

This is another honour received by the carrier after receiving a roll of awards, namely the ‘World's Best Regional Airline’ award from Skytrax, the ‘Best Regional Airline’ award from the 21st Annual TTG Travel Awards and ‘2010 Asia Excellence Brand’ from Yanzhou Zhoukan over the last few months.

Launched in 2005, the Awards are classified in 32 categories, 10 for airlines, 21 for hotel and resort accommodation. Results of the annual readers voting exercise, now in its sixth year, were revealed at 2010 Business Traveller China Awards dinner ceremonies held on 17 November at Shanghai.

“Our sincere thanks go to readers of the Business Traveller China who voted for us. Mainland China is Dragonair’s core market, and we are particularly excited to be recognised by its frequent travellers. Dragonair is committed to provide the best service to our passengers. This award truly reflects our persistence in maintaining the highest service quality in the main cabins,” said Dragonair General Manager China Sam Swire.

"2010 is a fruitful year for Dragonair as we receive a series of awards. These are big recognition to the entire Dragonair team, from home and abroad, for their dedication to service excellence.” said Mr Swire.
