Fundraising and Relief Efforts

Cathay Pacific is working on a number of fronts to provide relief to those affected by the events in Japan. A staff appeal has been launched at the airline and its subsidiaries with more than HK$1 million donated in the first week, which will be matched dollar for dollar by the company and donated to the Red Cross. Today the airline shipped more than 3,600 blankets to Japan with more to follow soon. The airline will channel in-flight donations to its Change for Good programme from 24 March to 8 April 2011 to help UNICEF's relief effort.
