Cathay Pacific Taiwan flights affected by Typhoon Trami

Cathay Pacific Airways today (Tuesday, 20 August) announced that based on the latest forecast for Typhoon Trami, the following flights to Taipei on Wednesday will be cancelled.

“Typhoon Trami is expected to disrupt our flight operations to and from Taiwan from late Wednesday, 21 August to early Thursday, 22 August. We anticipate there may be more flights affected and advise passengers to check the latest flight information on our website before departing for the airport,” said a Cathay Pacific spokesperson.

Passengers booked on the above cancelled flights are advised not to go to the airport. Cathay Pacific will assist with alternative arrangements for affected passengers through our call centres and “Manage My Booking” at www.cathaypacific.com.

Passengers are also advised to enter their contact details in the Manage My Booking function on the website to ensure they receive the latest flight status updates via SMS or email.

Cathay Pacific continues to monitor the situation closely and will issue further updates once more information becomes available. The airline regrets any inconvenience this may cause and hopes for passengers’ understanding.
