(HONG KONG) Dragonair today (23 July, Monday) announced that based on the latest weather forecast for Hong Kong International Airport, the airline does not currently expect any serious disruptions to its flight operations as a result of the passage of Typhoon Vicente.
In view of the latest forecast for the track of the typhoon, flights departing and arriving Hong Kong on 23 and 24 July are expected to operate as normal. However, as the typhoon is getting closer to Hong Kong, and subject to any changes in direction over the coming hours, the possibility of some delays or diversions remains.
Passengers are reminded that the situation can change rapidly and are advised to check the latest flight information on the airline’s website, www.dragonair.com, before departing for the airport. To ensure customers receive the latest flight status updates via SMS or email, they are advised to update their contact details when checking in online.
The airline will continue to monitor the situation closely and will issue further updates should there be any changes to the flight schedule.
