Cathay Pacific enhances travel flexbility for customers
20 Mar 2003
Cathay Pacific has revised its reservations and ticketing policy in light of the current situation in the Middle East. The revised policy will assist customers in travelling to and from the Middle East during this period of uncertainty.
With immediate effect, passengers holding confirmed bookings on Cathay Pacific's services to Dubai, Bahrain and Riyadh for departures through 17 May 2003 may change their travel plans without paying a penalty charge. Rescheduled travel must be completed by 30 September 2003. Customers are advised to make the change on or before 17 April 2003.
All changes are subject to space availability. Any passenger with a confirmed booking and does not show up for the flight without prior notice to Cathay Pacific will not be eligible for the above flexibility. Customers may be subject to fare difference payment resulting from travel during a higher cost travel season or day of week. Rescheduled travel must adhere to other applicable travel requirements stipulated by the original ticket rules.
