Free email offer with "We Love HK" campaign

More hotels and an email service provider were among the companies to create new offers in support of the "We Love HK" campaign.

PCCW was the first telecom company to join the campaign by offering 30 free minutes per month over a two-month period to China, US, Canada, UK and Australia to anyone who first registers their mobile phone of any network with IDD 0060 service by 31 May.

Outblaze from the IT industry now joins the campaign by offering one year's free premium e-mail service to 2,000 customers who can show they have spent at least $1,000 in other stores around Hong Kong. The package includes a number of features such as 25MB storage and an online file cabinet and photo album.

InterContinental Hong Kong is offering a local getaway for $1,888 and credit of $1,888 good for any of the hotel's restaurants, bars or spa during the stay.

Regal Airport Hotel has a $398 per person weekday and $478 per person package on Friday, Saturday and holidays' eves. It includes accommodation and vouchers at Cafˆm Aficionado/ Dragon Inn/ Rouge/ China Coast Wine Bar & Grill and a round trip ticket on the Airport Express Line.

The Regal Kowloon Hotel and Regal Oriental are both offering upgrade packages that include F&B vouchers.

Among the new participating merchants are Challenger Services Limited, which is offering discounts on auto maintenance service packages and the Chung Hwa Book Company which is giving up to 20 percent off non-sale items

The "We Love HK" campaign was created by the Tourism Coalition of Hong Kong, which comprises members of the tourism industry, including the Board of Airline Representatives, Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners, Hong Kong Hotels Association and Travel Industry Council.


The Tourism Commission announced on 5 May that the cash rebate promotion launched by Hang Seng Bank would run from 6 May to 31 May. The exact launch date of the promotion should be 7 May 2003 (Wed).
