Cathay Pacific offers 50% discount on fares for senior citizens

Cathay Pacific Airways today announced a special 50 percent discount on regular adult fares for Hong Kong senior citizens. This promotion is being launched to celebrate Senior Citizens' Day on 16 November.
The offer is open to Hong Kong citizens aged 65 or above between 13 and 28 November. This offer is applicable to Cathay Pacific operated flights from Hong Kong to selected Asian destinations. Travellers should complete their journey on or before 13 January 2004.
Cathay Pacific General Manager Sales Hong Kong & China Dane Cheng said: "As the airline of Hong Kong, we are delighted to offer this special discount to Hong Kong senior citizens. With this promotion, we hope to encourage more senior citizens to travel and see the world."
Throughout the year, Cathay Pacific offers a 25 percent discount for Hong Kong Senior Citizens. This discount applies to more routes, including several long-haul destinations. Last year, around 15,000 senior citizens in Hong Kong took advantage of Senior Citizen Discount offers. Most visited Singapore, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur.
Tickets are available from the Cathay Pacific Ticketing Office in Hong Kong or any travel agent. The discounts apply both to published fares and market fares. Other terms and conditions apply.
