Cathay Pacific's Director and Chief Operating Officer Philip Chen said: "As Hong Kong's airline we are strongly committed to strengthening Hong Kong's position as Asia's leading aviation hub, and we fully support every effort for enhancing Hong Kong's tourism industry. Tourism is one of the key drivers of our economy, and boosting it will definitely create more jobs in the community and contribute to long-term growth.
"Cathay Pacific is happy to be the Sponsor Airline of 'Hong Kong Salutes the World' and to do what it can to bring in more visitors from all over the world to enjoy the excitement of Hong Kong," Mr Chen added.
