Cathay Pacific proud to sponsor Fortune Global Forum

Cathay Pacific Airways today announced it was proud to be named official airline sponsor for the Fortune Global Forum 2001. This will be the second year Cathay Pacific has served in this role. This year's forum will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong from 8 to 10 May. The Fortune Global Forum brings together the world's leading chief executives, academics, and government officials to explore key issues facing multinational companies.
Cathay Pacific will bring passengers to Hong Kong from around the world to attend the Forum and provide a series of travel services to the delegates. The airline will also set up a travel desk at the Grand Hyatt to assist delegates with their travel arrangements and provide a range of reservation and ticketing services.
Cathay Pacific's General Manager Marketing Charlie Stewart-Cox said: "We are delighted to be once again associated with the prestigious Fortune Global Forum. As official airline we will help bring delegates from all over the world to our home Hong Kong. This sponsorship is part of our commitment to further enhance Hong Kong's position as the events capital of Asia."
The theme for the 2001 Fortune Global Forum is "Next Generation Asia". The keynote speakers will include the President of the People's Republic of China Mr Jiang Zemin, HKSAR Government Chief Secretary for Administration Mr Donald Tsang, former United States' President Bill Clinton, and Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
As a Hong Kong-based airline, Cathay Pacific plays an active role in bringing a wide range of events to Hong Kong.
