Cathay Pacific flight update

Cathay Pacific Airways announced that as of 10:00am today it had cancelled a total of 39 flights due to the ongoing industrial action by the pilots' union. A total of 122 flights were originally scheduled for the day. This morning, seven flights have experienced delays of 15 minutes or more. The airline will operate 35 flights using aircraft it has chartered.
Yesterday, 8 July, the airline cancelled 41 flights. A total of 89 flights experienced delays of 15 minutes or more. Among them 29 flights experienced delays of 90 minutes or more. A total of 26 flights were operated using aircraft it has chartered.
Cathay Pacific sincerely regrets the inconvenience which passengers have suffered as a result of the pilot union's disruption campaign. The airline is doing everything it can to get passengers to their destinations as speedily as possible. Passengers whose flights have been cancelled or delayed are being rebooked onto alternative flights.
