Cathay Pacific Airways today announced a new promotion offering passengers a selection of dishes from some of Hong Kong's most famous Chinese restaurants. The "Best Chinese Food in the Air" starts on 1 October with dishes from the internationally acclaimed Yung Kee Restaurant. The Yung Kee dishes will be served on Cathay Pacific's 48 flights from Hong Kong for a period of six months.
Over 30 different dishes specially prepared by Yung Kee will be featured over the period, including the restaurant's signature roast goose. Others dishes include the highly renowned braised goose and taro with Chu Hou sauce, and braised chicken with abalone. The dishes will be complemented by choice wines from Cathay Pacific's wine list. After the six-month period another restaurant will be featured.
To celebrate the launch of the promotion, a commemorative gift will be given to all Cathay Pacific passengers leaving Hong Kong on the first three days of October. During this same period, diners at the Yung Kee Restaurant in Central will also be able to order the Yung Kee dishes featured in the "Best Chinese Food in the Air" menu. The restaurant will also run a series of lucky draws.
