Cathay Pacific offers a million Asia Miles lucky draw

Cathay Pacific Airways has launched an exciting online lucky draw with a first prize of one million Asia Miles. The lucky draw is open to all Hong Kong resident passengers who book a ticket online with Cathay Pacific before 31 January 2001. There are also ten prizes of 100,000 Asia Miles and twenty prizes of 25,000 Asia Miles.

To enter, passengers simply have to book a Cathay Pacific ticket online and use it between 1 November 2000 and 31 January 2001. The more tickets passengers book online, the more chances they have to win prizes, because every booking earns an entry into the lucky draw.

Cathay Pacific's Director Sales & Marketing James Barrington said: "More and more of our passengers are taking advantage of the Internet to book tickets with us. This lucky draw is a way of generating even more awareness of this convenient service and providing an exciting competition for our Hong Kong passengers."

Further details of the lucky draw, including the terms and conditions, can be viewed on the Cathay Pacific Website www.cathaypacific.com. Results of the lucky draw will be published on 22 February next year on the Cathay Pacific Website and in a number of local newspapers namely Oriental Daily News, Ming Pao Daily, South China Morning Post, and Hong Kong iMail.

The Asia Miles lucky draw is part of Cathay Pacific's aim to become Asia’s leading e-Business airline. The airline recently announced it would invest HK$2 billion on a range of e-Business projects to give its passengers greater choice and convenience. The projects include a new flagship Website, a cargo Website, online travel exchange, and e-Marketplace.

Asia Miles is Asia's leading Travel Reward Programme and has more than 50 partners.
