Cathay Pacific To Open New Elemis Day Spa In Hong Kong

Cathay Pacific Airways has opened a new day spa at The Wing today, offering top-of-the-line beauty care services and products to its First Class and Business Class passengers. The Beautiful Skin Centre, an experienced and high-quality operator of spas and skincare centres based in Hong Kong operate the Elemis Day Spa (EDS). Cathay Pacific is the first airline to introduce spa service in Asia.

The Elemis Day Spa, located at Level 6 of The Wing, the stylish First Class and Business Class lounges at Hong Kong International Airport offers a range of beauty and relaxation services for travelling business men and women. These services specially designed for frequent passengers include a wide range of innovative treatments. They include a host of hair and skin care, body and facial massages, as well as spa and reflexology treatment using products containing natural herbs and flowers. All therapists at EDS are experienced, and professionally trained to provide personal health and beauty consultations as well as services to the passengers. The design of the spa echoes the overall modern theme of The Wing while abiding to EDS's holistic philosophy to the total well being of the mind and body. All the elements of the spa, including lighting, music and aroma are geared towards creating a relaxing, therapeutic atmosphere and a calming environment that will help replenish and refresh passengers from their busy travelling schedule.

The new Elemis Day Spa will help us provide an even more complete range of services for our highly-valued First and Business Class passengers," said Robert Cutler, Cathay Pacific's Director Service Delivery. "Leisure and business travellers searching for the ultimate relaxation, or business executives looking for some stress relief will both find the spa highly attractive."

The new day spa will open at 8:30am each morning and operate until the departure of the last Cathay Pacific flight, typically around midnight. All of Cathay Pacific's First Class and Business Class passengers can use the spa on a walk-in basis or by making a booking in advance. Elemis Day Spa offers a range of discounts to Cathay Pacific's valued Marco Polo Members. Diamond members get a 20% discount on any services, Gold and silver members get a 15% discount, and Green members get 10% discount.

Recent additions to The Wing include new seating areas, a self-service bar, the introduction of a stylish new personal entertainment system called "The Pebble", improved food and beverage services, and bold artwork by artist Barnaby Gordon.

Elemis Day Spa is the operating name for the worldwide franchising of the Beautiful Skin Centre (BSC). BSC was established in Hong Kong in 1991 to provide consumers with the finest quality care for overall body and skincare needs.
