    Our enhanced passkey brings you a seamless, secure way to sign in.

    A simple new way to sign in

    We’re introducing passkey authentication for your Cathay account. Passkeys use either a PIN or biometric information, such as your fingerprint or face, to verify your identity and authenticate your account. It’s simpler, more secure, and doesn’t require you to enter your password every time, so you can access your bookings, miles and rewards even faster. 

    With passkeys or two-factor authentication, you’ll be able to sign in to your Cathay account by simply unlocking your personal device.

    How to use your passkey

    Create your passkey

    1. Sign in to your Cathay account

    2. Click on “Create a passkey”

    3. Enter SMS verification code

    4. Create passkey with your face, fingerprint or PIN

    5. You’re all set

    1. Go to the “Sign in” page

    2. Click “Sign in with passkey”

    3. Verify your identity with your face, fingerprint or PIN

    4. You’re signed in

    Manage your passkey

    1. Go to “Edit Profile”

    2. Go to “Account security”

    3. Go to “Passkey”

    4. You can view, add or delete your passkey
