Dragonair Youth Aviation Academy Organises Cabin Crew Workshop to Inspire University Students

(HONG KONG) A special workshop being organised as part of the Dragonair Youth Aviation Academy, a core initiative of the airline’s corporate social responsibility programme, will give university students a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities of cabin crew.

The half-day interactive cabin crew workshop, named “Cabin Crew Insight”, has been specially designed for undergraduate university students. It will be held on 10 April and is now open for enrolment. Through demonstrations, hands-on practice and case sharing, participants will get informative insights into the work and lifestyle of cabin crew. 

Details of the Cabin Crew Insight workshop are as follows.

Time:         9:00am – 1:30pm 
Location:   Dragonair House, 11 Tung Fai Road, Hong Kong International Airport, Lantau
Language:  Cantonese (supplemented with English instructions)
Fees:         Free of charge
Eligibility:   Undergraduate university students
* Certificates will be given to those who complete the workshop.

The interactive workshop will cover a wide range of topics including:

  • Roles and responsibilities of cabin crew
  • Communication and service attitude
  • Grooming and outlook
  • Experience sharing by Dragonair cabin crew
  • Tour of the cabin crew training facility

Online enrolment is open until noon 2 April 2012 (Monday) and can be done through the Dragonair Youth Aviation Academy website, www.dragonair.com/aviationacademy.

The Dragonair Youth Aviation Academy was established in 2011 with the aim of inspiring Hong Kong’s young people to learn about the exciting world of aviation and to consider pursuing a career in the industry.
