Reissue Fee and Refund Surcharge for tickets issued in Taiwan(CX/KA ticket stock 160/043)

Reissue fee/service fee is to be collected at Cathay Pacific (CX) / Cathay Dragon (KA) Call Center or Airport counters as below. 


1. Service fee for name or title correction

  • TWD800 - Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon sectors only
  • TWD1,200 - Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon and other carriers

Note: Adult/Child/Infant charge the same amounts.

 

2.  Reissue fee for rebooking
Please refer to Fare Structure and Booking Class

Rebooking and reissue is not permitted

       Rebooking is under these conditions.

  • Change of flight (including other carriers)
  • Change of class 
  • Change of date 
  • Extension of ticket validity 
  • Change of stopover/transfer point 
  • Rerouting    

Note : Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon will collect the difference, if surcharges or taxes/fees/charges increase (including exchange rate) upon reissuance.

 

3.  No show fee.

  • It is Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon's policy to refund Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon's tickets within two years from the ticket issued date. We will refuse refund where the application is made after the two year of ticket issue date.
  • O class ticket is non-refundable. 
  • No show fee is not inclusive in the refund surcharge amount.
  • The processing time to get the refund of fully unused or partially used ticket: 
    After deduction of necessary cancellation charges, the residual amount will be processed in (counted from the day of receipt of the refund request):
    (1)7 working days for credit card transactions.
    (2)20 calendar days for ticket in other forms of payment such as cash, bank transfer.
    Please note the above time is the processing time required within Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon. Time required for the actual refund to reach cardholder’s account will depend on the bank’s processing time and will be processed within three months. Also, the above guidelines do not apply to special refund involving service on other airlines.
  • Unless other specified in any particular ticket terms and conditions, the above mentioned refund surcharge apply to all individual tickets issued by Cathay Pacific / Cathay Dragon Taiwan.
  • If you purchase your ticket via travel agent, please contact your travel agent for ticket refund., if the ticket purchased via Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon website, please contact our Contact Centre of Taiwan or Global Contact Centres., if the ticket purchase via Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon Contact Centre of Taiwan, please contact at 02-8793-3388 for refund issue.
